Looking for conservative colors such as navy, charcoal, mid grey etc....

By the way, most people like to recommend HY. I'm assuming the sweet spot for value is around $200 for a pair of pants?

What sort of material are you looking for? For example, I'm not entirely a fan of the wool pants.

Formal dress pants are usually wool pants, but if you consider a particular type of pants as dress pants as well, I'll definitely consider it.

In fact, if I can get away from wool, even better. I rather not dry clean them every month or so. But it has to look like the pants belong in a conservative business environment.

Frankly, wool is the better material for pants. Holds up better and doesn't smell like crap after a few wears.They are pretty much a "wrinkle-free" material and they feel nice. My dislike is just pure personal preference.

For your price range, maybe some BB trousers. These are on sale two for $229 so they'd be pretty close to your price range.
