Recommend me a nice clipboard / notepad folder?

I find myself using one of these folders with a clipboard + notepad on the one side and a simple sleeve on the other quite often. It's exactly all I need for a set of meetings...

thing is, mine's a rather cheap SWAG one, so I'm looking for something nicer. anyone use something similar or seen a nice one?

ideally:
1. Under $150-200
2. No obnoxious branding (lookin' at you Louis Vuitton)
3. Not one of those swiss army thick giant zippered things, just a simple clean pen holder/two, slip folder, and clipboard with notepad.

4. Other suggestions?

Thanks!

Does it have to be 8.5x11/A4 in size? Rickshaw in SF make a nice one that holds Moleskine or similar (approx B6) and the nicely fits the item quotient you ask for. Noteslate (thanks PG) if you can wait a bit and a leather brief looks like a nice alternative for this functionality.

I'm in the same boat. I want a Hartmann Belting Leather one but they sell for $250 and I cannot justify that right now.

I don't have experience with Saddleback leather but there are some others here who speak highly of them. They offer a "notepad holder" for $140. Link here. The Saddleback aesthetic isn't for me (too rugged) but maybe it will appeal to you.

You might try Renaissance Art, which is a leather company specializing in writing stuff.

I'm an avid writer, and carry a satchel with me. They made one for me to specification, with pockets to fit my phone, netbook, journal, various pens, including a place for my Visconti Traveling Inkwell. Their work is very nice, and the leather is very heavy and masculine, if that's your style.

Honestly just go to Staples; they have a variety at good prices. Do you really want to spend over $100 on a "good" paper holder? Seems like a huge waste and maybe even a little pretentious.

Thanks for the rec's guys. That saddleback one looks nice (although a little thick) and the noteslate is fascinating! saiyar1 - yeah, I'll check stapes. I just use this thing ALL the time for various meetings so why not get something that looks professional and is durable. The plastic covered cardboard one I've currently got is peeling away and has a big fat logo on the front. just for posterity's sake... here are some links to various ones that look interesting...
