Looking at like $300-500 price point. I want Allen Edmonds-esque quality but with the slimmer more European look. Can you guys suggest some brands? Thanks!

Belay that. For $300 to $500, you should be looking at Carmina, C&J, and Meermin Linea Maestro.

The European look??? As the Austro-Hungarian Dinkelacker look? Or the English Edward Green look? Or English G&G look? Or the Italian Santoni look?

You can find some Santoni's on sale for less than $400~. They make an awesome cap toe European style shoe.

For example, [IMG] would work well in many occasions. Extremely soft (not flimsy) and well constructed leather as well.

Probably more of the Italian Santoni look. Also looking for shoes with leather soles.
