I been wearing RM Williams boots for a while now, for both casual and work - no complaints. However recently out buying suits I was tempted to try on antique brown Doucal shoe and ending up buying this and another pair in black.

Great shoes, with real character. Problem I have now, is the laces sticking out from where the trouser hem is annoys me. And I then end up tucking the laces back up into the shoe...which is weird, but makes everything nice and tidy

The solution must be shoes without laces...but I cant do loafers for work with suits etc, and wondered about these >> http://www.bespoke-england.co.uk/col...age-cedar-calf

be great to hear some opinions on shoes without laces and the ones in the link above

As you get older, that will become less and less of a problem.
