I thought it was because they're all stoners, he looks like Tommy Chong...

I really like what this guy wears (and I don't hate loafers) but in general any old guy wearing something formal is worshipped by the members here [IMG]

Unlike Voltaire, who, after returning to Paris from a long exile, showed up at the opera with his socks gartered outside his breeches--the fashion at the time of his banishment some fifty years earlier--and was ridiculed (by a group of what must have been the classical continental counterpart to the iGent) for being so backward.

That's the blessing of being a dude. Stay slim, get old, dress well, look great.

Beard guy on bicycle looks great but my reason is his amazing beard. His clothes are helpful of course. But damn that beard is great.

I actually printed this off and am taking it to my tailor.

I want that suit. If ever I wear a DB suit, this will be it.

For the record, since I originally posted the picture, I actually do like the suit quite a bit, especially the lapels. But for me, maybe because I like things in their place and a bit of neatness, the tie sprezz bothers me.

+1 if you want people to see how nice your tie is...unbutton your jacket!

Have a great tie and never unbutton your jacket. Some rich Italians dandies can get away with it but not everybody...

If your tie is too noticeable, it can impact on the balance of your combo...A great combo is based on harmony even in contrast..

Nothing wrong with a clean, well turned-out oldie getting some attention in this world.

You just wait, you young bastard, you'll see, you'll get yours...(cough, choke, hack, gasp, sputter)
