I like it. Wish we could get a better view of the mustache. And could see it without the color saturation cranked to 11.

My beard is already that color. When my hair and mustache are equally white, I'm going for this look.

No, it is not brilliant. He missed the blatantly obvious. The carpet is there so you can stand on the loo without getting cold feet, as the forumite is quite correctly doing. Although he should have taken off his shoes before doing so.

But then you could not have seen his shoes.

I advanced an alternative theory.

Sarcasm on the Internet is like winking on the phone.

From today's Sart. I really like this.

I really like this photo as well. That guy looks so comfortable in that outfit. Looking at him, I think 'well dressed' and not 'dandy'. Everything fits well, no attempted "sprezzatura". A simple blazer (or is it part of a suit? doesn't matter really), well worn khakis and a striped shirt. The shoes are great.

It is as if he is saying this to WAYWRN posters:

"To all of you "trying" to look as elegant: stop trying. Stop worrying about perfect cuff showing. Stop worrying abour perfect sleeve pitch. Stop worrying about the ideal lapel roll. Don't go over the top with pattern/fabric matching/color. You don't need a PS with every outfit. Keep it simple and and don't let the clothes wear you. Be a man."

Well maybe he doesn't say those, but I do (unless you are a dandy, or want to be one). And also I say this to The Sartorialist: stop over-saturating your photos. Someone should go by him with a poster/sign saying this.

Then you have a few years to recover those tasseled loafers you sold a couple months ago. Those were the best tasseled loafers I'd ever seen.

don't think the tie thing is on purpose. Probably from him pulling down on the jacket, the tie slipped in between the jacket opening. I like the way MM dresses, always looks very comfortable and usually accompanied by some very nice eye candy.

he might not have the inside button buttoned and in the course of walking and then posing, the tie slipped in there. I don't know, I've never seen him photgraphed with anything that resembled some weird tie shenanigans.

More importantly, he is wearing a BD with a DB

Maybe he's been reading too much SF.

I like the BD, not so much the tie action.
