The FOBy one? I also went to the Saks and it just really reminded me of how much I dislike Rice-a-Roniville
It's someone named Arthur. His surname is interestingly enough, not of the Asiatic variety. That Saks does have a lot of Oriental saleshelp. There is a thin Caucasoid fellow who works there with eyeglasses.

I just got a vibe of generally hostility. It was as though they were barely tolerating my presence in the store. I've been in a few times, and while there have been a few pieces I liked, their attitude dissuaded me from parting with my money. I got the most perfunctory and most brusque of answers when I asked about pieces, though it was obvious that I was interested in them. It makes very little sense to me for someone at a place like the Archive to treat any customer poorly, since it is really a destination store, and the storefront is designed to be daunting to the casual window shopper.

Anyway, the economy is bad, and there are other places that I'd rather patronize.

+1000. How about asking me if I need some help, or maybe can I get you a size. Those dudes can eat it at the archive, I've been in three times and each time was worse and the store was empty.

That said, MAC in Hayes Valley is my new fave shop in The City. Bought a Jil Shirt and a fuckingly awesome amazing Dries Van Notes tunic. The tunic is my best pick up in a while. I am waiting for LA pool parties now.

Also bought the last pair of black Rafs from South Willard in a 36. 88 bucks with tax. Wish they had more.

LOL, they really closed for awhile? Not a bad way for a small shop owner to take a vacation.
