Are you basing this off the fact that all I cook is boiled water?

Just ordered a pair of Paul Smith slim fit jeans. They are raw, and from what I've heard, should be amazing in quality. In fact, I'm sort of surprised not many people wear Paul Smith jeans on StyleForum. The jeans are hank dyed, natural indigo, (selvage) denim is from the same mill as 45rpm, obviously MIJ, 35" inseam, made with chain stitching from an original Union Special, copper buttons, oh and did I mention I only paid $133 shipped (via the PS sale online)! The ones online are made in China (as it says...)

Unless you grabbed a last pair or something. I have a pair of the Red Ear MIJ's and they're allright.

does anyone know how the paul smith straight fit/slimfit jeans fit? most of the measurements on this board suggest they run large in the waist or stretch out easily?

the ones I have are about 1.5-2" vanity sized and they all seem to run consistently so from what I've tried on, including the S/S 08 "howgate wonder" which is his really skinny jean

Are they really that skinny? Those are the ones I got and I was thinking they would be inbetween a NC and a NS. Am I way off? [IMG]

^^ I thought they were pretty skinny....I tried on size 30 which fit well. It probably had a true waist of 31/31.5....the leg opening was I'm guessing around 7"...so closer to the Cure than NS. I think they fit really well, but the low rise wasnt something I was in the market for. Esp the back rise seemed very low.

Schiesser henleys and this black knit vest from FP. I need to get the buttons replaced with some MOP ones though, the ones they shipped to stores only had crappy plastic ones.
