It's not just about the color and hi vs low top. I generally find the shape and small design details (midsole, toe shape, etc...) unappealing.

Well, i've seen sk8 his plenty of times in person and even tried them on since i heard a bunch of people talking about them when i joined here/sufu but didn't buy them. I just don't find them very attractive shoes. I mean, they're not monstrously ugly or anything but i just find them unappealing. Whatever floats his boat though but he did ask for opinions.

I sent em back, they're too wide and I didn't like the canvas on them.

if everyone had said they loved them, would you have overried your personal feelings and kept them?

Yea. I feel this is some sort of styleforum peer pressure experiment. I was gonna cop me some all white sk8 his (same pair) but felt it didnt fit my style. Got all white (no colored stripes on the sides either!) Chucks instead.

I've felt this way since the beginning. It has to all be some really bizzare joke. I've been skeptical for awhile. Kinda how i feel about lebron james. Dude has to be a cyborg created by david stern to increase ratings right? I mean, if the other nba conspiracy theories are accepted, why not mine?

the shoes themselves arent THAT bad, they just don't work at all with extremely skinny jeans with awful stacking. would look fine if the jeans covered more of the shoe.

    wut @chrono

I mean, I tried em on and felt that, man, i can't wear skate shoes. However, I remember seeing one runway show and a couple of looks featuring white sk8 his in various stages of dirtiness, and they honestly didn't look that bad. Not something I'd wear, but not hideous.

I wonder what kind of insane fashion trends SF could start as a result of groupthink...
