Lets see...recently I got my order from Hejfinas memorial day sale, consisting of two short sleeved shirts, one from BoO and one from EG. I just wanted to make a note that I have been fairly dissapointed with the quality of my BoO shirts. On one of them two different buttons fell off after only one or two wear, and on the short-sleeved one I just received, I have already noticed three defects in the fabric (noticed after removing the tags of course). By all means I know that the cut is the main attraction with these shirts, but a shirt that retails for $200 shouldn't have defects that are so quickly obvious.

Just an off-the-wall guess -- it's possible lots of people tried on the shirt off the rack before you bought it, including a few fatties who aren't familiar with the way Band of Outsiders shirts fit.

But any time I see a shirt or pants with loose buttons, I ask the salesperson if he can have in-store alterations fix it before I shell out the cash.

Anyway, that's still a bit disappointing. I've never had any such issues with my Band shirts.

I like those pants, socal. I was looking at those in that guy's sale thread for awhile trying to tell myself i could do it. I don't know why they were calling to me. To stay on topic, i got a Loden Dager s/s button down recently. Mainline not uniqlo collab. It's almost a half sleeve type thing where you gotta roll it up one or two and with a squared off hem. To the BoO buttons dude: I've had $500 shirts that have had buttons fall off. It's just the name of the game sometimes.

I had my friend's gf tighten all my buttons. I've had it happen to me on a wide variety of "quality" items. Happens on EG shit all the time as well. Not a big deal.

yeah, the whole "buttons falling off" on my BoO shirts wasnt the problem, because that is easily fixed. Both of them had like bad defects in the fabric, some discolorations, bad stitches etc. Got them both on discount so no biggie either way, and definitely not a big enough deal to stop me from trying to score on South Willards sale, hopefully there will still be something left in the morning [IMG]

Somewhat inspired by ghulkhan's burberry trench.. [IMG]

I don't know why the logo is so similar to J. Linderberg?
