1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

But didnt EG stop making RLPL shoes a year or two ago?

It sounds correct, RLPL went to Italian manufacturing....i remember reading a thread with a bunch of MC geezers whining about that fact.

But if the shoes fit and look cool it sounds like you got a good purchase

I don't know if EG is making them but the cordovan Polo (not RLPL) shoes on the RL site are all marked as being made in England.

I ordered a pair of these monkstraps a month or so back on sale:

They were 'Made In Italy', they came in a Purple Label box, and the quality was medicore at best. The leather looked very cheap and plasticy. I sent them back.

That's the "Jil"-esq tee I wanted on Gilt Groupe from John Bartlett; but, in the Yves blue or Pylon orange.

I think you should[IMG] the blue.

I actually like the blue more than the "khaki", but I don't really wear a lot of navy since I think it looks funny with dark jeans (and that's all I wear...). If I ever bothered to wear my chinos or khakis I would have got the blue in a second. From the pictures it looks like a very cool shade, YSL or not. Plus, it's 70% off retail.

Impulse buy alert... the measurements were too perfect to pass on(aside from the inseam being 1.5" short which can be dealt with). Good pickup, or regrettable decision? 2002 era Charcoal Helmut Lang suit, BIN'd at USD $140 on ebay: [IMG] http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=180283185262

Dropped by Ben Sherman and they now have X-Small shirts. I ended up getting three short-sleeve shirts: two gingham and one in the house check.

I really like a lot of Jas MB bags i've seen but the retail price kinda scares me off for the most part. That bag looks nice though. Eventually i'm gonna bite the bullet and get a decent bag.
