1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

C&J for Polo on the way. Got a good deal on them; a much better deal than what they are offered at on the Polo site right now.

Yes, I was shopping at the Polo store in Atlanta and they had the end of summer markdowns going on. I found these shoes on clearance. They had a 10D but no 10.5D (my normal size in AE). I tried the 10D on and they were very snug but I was about to do it since they we're marked down a lot, but they only had one 10D shoe and one 9D shoe. There's no way in hell I could fit a 9D, so I had my SA check around with some other stores to see if they could find any.

Fast forward 2 weeks: he called my up yesterday and said they found a pair at the Costa Mesa store and they were being sent to me. A related note, all the mannequins in the store had on 10Ds but they were all stretched out from the wooden feet inside. These should be coming in in about a week. I'll update with some more detailed pictures.

Those v-necks are too deep for me. They'd look good with a shirt buttoned all the way up though.

yea the Terry Halls have a deeper "V"....and you're right about the 2nd point you made.

mos def. the size of the laurel matches the size of my awesomeness. But yea man, they're the older laurel style, in oversized size scale. Here's the 'famous' pic of T. Hall that the sweater is an exact reproduction of, from 1979 when he fronted the Specials. Then and Now. FP is smart to reissue this sweater since The Specials are reuniting with all original members in late fall for a string of UK dates (and hopefully USA shortly after in 2009)

I'd love to try that on and see how it fits, as its exactly the kind of thing I like, especially in the burgundy colour but unfortunately my days of living somewhere with a FP shop are long gone.

Probably uniqlo. They restocked recently. Uniqlo doesn't have any stockists or anything. Either use their email ordering system or call and do a phone order. Make sure you specify vintage chino.

Ah, OK. I asked Jimmy, everyone's favorite Polo salesman in Atlanta who the maker was and he told me C&J so I took him at that.
