1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I was bored visiting relatives up in Buffalo, and wandered into a Banana Republic at a local mall, and found all their Paul Smith look a like striped socks marked down to $1.99. Picked up 10 pairs.

I stopped into their store last weekend to buy the same pair but they were already out of my size. I've got competition on the 12's. [IMG]

What was the damage on the Aldens? Those are great, although I'd like them even more with a double sole....

$435ish I believe. They're on the flex welt, and have that special single layer sole.

that's correct. +10 UPS shipping. no sales tax, which is nice. gal at the store I ordered from seemed to know what she was talking about, in reference to how this last would fit me based on my experience with the Barrie last. as much as I like a double soled shoe, this one seems better single sole.

Yeah, they're very nice to work with and they love their shoes. They got me interested in a pair of cowboy boots now, which I never even thought of before.
