1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

It's the Walter brief by Krane. I was going to get a small carry on from filson, but I found this bag for a great price so I couldn't pass it up.

I got the exact same jacket yesterday, but it's from J. Crew. It got marked down from $100 to $70 to finally $50 this week, plus an additional 25% off when I went yesterday.

So how you like it? Apparently Eddie Bauer thinks all size L middle-aged men are also obese. Fit me like a sack around the waist. I almost decided to return it for a medium but then I decided to do some simple tailoring. I took out the sewing kit and brought in my jacket's waistband by about 4 inches, basically cinching up the elastic side panels, and now it looks great. It was falling way too low and now rides up more where a jacket like this should. Plus the cinching gives it that classic pouching at that bottom. Took about a half an hour.

Finally got my pair of these after a 7 month wait, and just in time for the warm weather this weekend.

The Krane bag came in and it is great! Really nice waxed cotton and the leather has a very interesting texture. The bag has great details and the construction is excellent.

That THxUniqlo jacket is so great. I wear mine all the time. I regret not buying the black one also. If you find the way the jacket fits a bit weird, especially in the arms, I suggest you give the jacket cold soak. When my jacket dried up, the fabric had a much nicer drape.

Huh, those are actual photographs, not that it matters.

I bought some Gap selvedge jeans at a local clothing exchange. Don't know much about them other than it says "Authentic Japanese Denim" on the waist, 1969 on the leather label, appear to be raw (a little blue comes off when I rub them hard enough), has a selvedge coin pocket and has a blue selvedge line. Can anyone ID them?

    Looks decent for $15 though

gap came out with some raw denim last year. they were called "gap goughs". those sound similar.

^^ Those aren't the Gough, which come with plain white patch. I think they're the ones sold a bit afterwards.

Don't know about those, but the Gough are quite nice.

Just got this 59/50 from HUF today. Not only did they keep me waiting for two weeks, but the hat is defective. You can kind of see especially in the second picture, the slant in the top. I'm so done with this intentional scarcity/treat me like a hypebeast/Supreme BS. Screw these guys, the return will arrive on Monday.[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I have them, posted pictures about a year ago in the Pictures of Denim thread. They're nice enough for me, as my other pair of jeans are Uniqlos from last Fall, which are now faded a bit much. I've never understood why the selvedge is floppy and wider than on nicer jeans.

Going to be upset that it won't be in your mouth anymore then?

Got this stuff in the mail today based on Corter's recommendation, and it's awesome. Gave my new wallet and belt a really soft feel. Also fun to apply with bare hands, had never done that before. Get it!
