vordhosbn, I can't say for sure, but I sincerely doubt it. Their stock is very limited, and their choices are pretty conservative. I think it was all Ralfs.

Hey Derrick, thanks man!! BTW do you have any idea why the LadM jacket you've sent me is labelled as a 44? I'm positive I can't fit in LM size 44, size 46 is already super tight so this must be a mislabelled 46... As for the cloak jeans, you're right but the recent offering are very tappered, ash in color and look pretty cool on me (I'm now down to a size 29 so the 30 has a nice slouchy effect going on), however I have no idea how well they age and take to washing...
well i don't think you really think about those things when you're buying designer jeans.. unless you're buying like yohji yamamoto jeans or something. if they look good and you like them- why not? yeah, i think it was just mislabelled or something, not sure. glad it fits though, otherwise i'd feel really stupid. haha.

Vintage Le Tigre Polo, $5. [IMG] I really like how this shirt looks. The fit is perfect and the way it is cut really accentuates the upper body and arms, while still remaining very fitted after the drop. The newer Le Tigre shirts are made of better fabric, kind of rugby shirt type material, similar to older RLPL polos, but aren't quite as slim fitting or as flattering to athletic builds.

Last night I picked up a long-sleeved Trovata oxford for $4.00CAN. It had been marked down a few times, and was listed at ten dollars on sale.

However, the shirt had been hanging for awhile and had dusty marks on the shoulder; so I asked if I could get another couple bucks off. The funny thing is when she looked at the dusty shoulders, she noticed the collar. Now you and I know that Trovata detail their shirts with love and care, but what she saw was a frayed collar and loose treads. She offered me 60% off the sale price, so I walked out of the store with my $4.00 Trovata shirt.

The same store had some heavily marked down Rogan stuff, but it was all to big for me. They had a couple of polos and a wicked selvage denim cowboy shirt. The polos were very cool, they had a graphic of a skull with crossed needles beneath the skull. The graphic looked like a junkie's Coat of Arms.

Other purchases include: a couple of Rebel Yell Ts (super thin for the summer), 1921 denim (M09 - KS Canadian-made [IMG] ), Mason's chinos, Holt Renfrew oxfords and khakis and Fred Perry polo

I have exactly the same shoes as Minya[IMG]
    Same colour, same style.
Just bought a pair of Acne Jeans and some stuff in Japan.
I love that Acne Jeans! They are super slim. But I don't even know what style is that.[IMG]

I'd like to see it on as well...the one thing that throws me off on it is the pocket placement is so low that it looks like it used to be a normal jacket that was severely hemmed. If the pocket was bumped up about 2" it'd look more balanced imo

It is placed slightly higher than on a "regular" suit, just like the button but you're right in that it's not a "mini-jacket" where everything is proportionate (ie the button and pockets are slightly lower than they should be for that and the lapels are longer) I'll post a picture of me wearing it to help you guys judge if it's a style you like but it's definitely not for everyone; short jackets never are though...

Oh and the sleeves are normaly longer than necessary on Lad Musician jackets and that's usually how they're styled and this one is no exception. This might be a problem if you're not into it because they have working buttonholes. All in all, I'd say that just like everything that's fashion forward, you shouldn't jump into it before you've decided it really fits your style.

I was over at the local goodwill today, with 10 minutes to spare, so I decided to look over at the shoes. I have been wanting a pair of nice brown dress shoes for a while, so I was really happy when I saw these. They look to be a pair of vintage Johnston & Murphy Chelsea (sp?) shoes. They look long because they're slim, but they fell good. The top-view doesn't give a good size sample, but the other picture does.

Both jackets are great finds, especially the French field jacket. Hope I find something equally awesome at the Salvation Army thrift store this Friday.
