I bought some matching trousers for my jacket recently. Now I need a bike.

Wow Jaques Marie Mage is something, as the biggest fan of Cutler and Gross...I’d say it’s C&G with a bit more flash. Beautiful details and I was impressed by the packaging. I’m a huge fan of thick acetate frames

@sinnedk I was holed up for a couple days due to the hurricane and was making some stress purchases and man I was very close to purchasing the Borodino.....I really wish it didn’t have those side shield things

@RegisDB9 dude glad you like those. I haven’t tried cutler and gross but do suggest some models to check.

JMM is my computer/work glasses, yea I’m fancy like that. I switched to the carrera aviators for driving those are my go to.

The packaging and everything is a nice touch. I def am going to get another pair.

I can't wear thick acetate anymore after wearing a lot of Mykita and MMMxMykita. They're just so light in comparison. Those are so good @RegisDB9 methinks I will use my FSA next year on another pair

I recently picked up this vintage suede Levi's trucker from the Bay. Kinda odd tag – made in Australia? – and missing the tab at the breast pocket (though I can tell it was once there and either came out or was removed). Part of me is wondering if it's a fake, but the suede is heavy and soft, it drapes nicely. And it fits me well. There are some seams that need minor repairs too, though that should be an easy fix.

That looks to be a nice example of an earlier Levis Type 3. Instead of the "phantom" pockets at the chest, as is found in most modern renditions of the style, it has the patch pockets at the chest, with flaps. The one thing that puzzles me is that lack of side adjusters, which were common on this style even from the beginning. Cool find though.

Anything can be a fake, but I fail to see how this particular fake would be a profitable one to make. It's very possibly a factory second though. It used to be common practice for Levis to mark all of their seconds by cutting off the tab.
