Every other pair like 1 sold, other kept, 1 sold, other kept

Or every other pair like "every pair he has had, he has sold"

BTW appreciate you following my sales post closely. Perhaps you will buy something soon! Or start a blog.

    don't give him any ideas.

I like my MMM shirt, but had it not been under $100, I probably would not have bought it. And I don't plan on getting any more unless it's something more "out there" in design (and even then, MMM designs aren't all that exciting for shirts). IMO Spurr, Dries, and Jil are far better choices
dries has nice quality shirts and some fucking great designs/concepts but the quality is not nearly as nice as margiela ... to me anyway. i agree many of the margiela shirt designs are not that exciting but i work in a very conservative office so they work for me.

quality of fabric, feel and cut. make sense?

Explore that further. What do those words mean? How do you determine quality of fabric? What is feel? What makes a cut more or less appealing?

    True.

I'm just playing devil's advocate--people throw around superlatives without background.

I determine quality of fabric by how much I like touching it.

^That's actually a good way to determine quality. For anyone who wants an actual answer, just Google it. There's plenty of info out there. For example: http://www.fabrics.net/amyquality.asp

Paul Smith also makes really nice shirting. Just pay attention to which line it's from though.
