the material and feel on the past few i have bought is some of the finest i have come across on a dress shirt ... although i do have a balenciaga coming as well, which i also hear make a terrific dress shirt.

in the $300 - $450 retail range i cant think of better shirt then the margielas, at least in my opinion.

What are your criteria for quality dress shirts?

I don't get the appeal of the margiela buttondowns, I felt them at Barneys and they were really papery and thin. Although that may be nice for a spring summer fabric or wearing a suit, I still don't understand the appeal. Care to explain why you like them?
I like my MMM shirt, but had it not been under $100, I probably would not have bought it. And I don't plan on getting any more unless it's something more "out there" in design (and even then, MMM designs aren't all that exciting for shirts). IMO Spurr, Dries, and Jil are far better choices

You tricked me with that "Zegna XXX" in your sig, thought I'd be looking at some Zegna Couture shoes under $80 [IMG] Also, glad to see the MMM boots aren't in B&S

I get the most compliments on those shoes, by a wide margin.

Every other pair like 1 sold, other kept, 1 sold, other kept

Or every other pair like "every pair he has had, he has sold"

BTW appreciate you following my sales post closely. Perhaps you will buy something soon! Or start a blog.
