1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Excellent pick up and fit is good, not "poofy" at all. Hard to see anything in the pics, but I know the details are awesome :slayer:

Which one did you get? The caramel SW version? I liked that one too, but it sold out with the swiftness before I realized they posted their latest shipment.

Are you complaining that your girl bought you a Schneider knit? If so, your Schneider card/pass has been officially e-revoked.

Haha. Funny man. Which one is that, the Thead cardigan/sweater?

I am also a little bitter about my Braves losing the WC

Not even sure where I'll even wear these. Whatever!

In other news, I will be on the FS forum selling off parts of my wardrobe to finance these :embar:

FW is always his best season. Sounds like the hairs cardigan. Personally, I think his knits top current day MMM.

Sorry about your Braves, but my team had a franchise record to break and your squad was in the way.

Haha. Aww snap. Can't we all get along?

I'm sure the quality of MMM is still pretty high so all of their basic knits are still wearable. In fact there is a blue speckled Stark-ish piece that looks pretty great. But regardless, it's a lifeless brand that's being driven by old designs from the archive + name. The design team has no direction and constantly releases drivel like this

    this is pretty sick

Schneider easily trumps MMM right now. He has the best fabrics I've ever felt/seen and this last collection is one of the most well rounded and beautiful in the last few years.

There are very few standouts in MMM that strengthen the brand, however sometimes people need to look at the bigger picture when it comes to MMM. If you take that sweatshirt, for example, it is a fantastic example of how margiela designs and manufactures their items. The design on that is an eyesore, and the coloring looks poor, however the construction and composition of the sweatshirt are the true standouts. I've often taken my mmm stuff into tailors who are like "that is some ugly shit, and it probably cost a fortune to make." I feel like thats a great description of mmm overall. If you appreciate the complexity in their designs and the innovations and developments in construction (faux zippers, techno fabrics, custom hardware, complex patterning, etc) you may still think its an ugly item, however it is still impressive regardless. From a construction standpoint, the jacket would be a pain in the ass to make, that goes with a lot of mmm items. SpA International must have a pretty impressive team of patternmakers and tailors to take on jobs like this...

Mmm I wouldn't say that "everyone" has picked up Schneider FW11 given how small their distribution is especially in comparison to modern MMM... I'm reasonably sure if you sell that cardigan it'll move with a quickness. Where did your girlfriend pick it up? Always interested in plundering more stockists.

south willard is probably the only stockist who carried that

regis won't know what to do with it because it's not a t-shirt ahhahaha

but really, that cardigan would look great with white jeans and a button-up, I should have copped it.
