I was just about to ask this, have no idea. [IMG]
Well, I was curious about the vintage of the Margiela jacket since I like it a lot better than the label's current stuff.
I like these, where do you get your Attachment denim?
I order from small shops or auction sites using Japanese proxy (Hide-san). Although when buying from auction sites, I only buy new denim. I wish there were better sources for it in the US, but I haven't seen any. They all have poor selection, ridiculous markups above Japanese retail (50% to 75%), poor to non-existent web stores, and a tendency to focus on the more fashion-y KKA line instead of Attachment (you're spending a lot so it must look like FASHION right?!)

What? Isn't genuine leather good? As opposed to plastic leather?

It generally means its not that great of leather (not full grain, top grain, etc)

a lot of the heavy dior luster leathers were 'genuine leather' so I don't think that paints a complete picture.

This is misleading. Especially from European and Japanese designers, the term is used indiscriminately to describe *any* type of leather. I have a Julius belt made from heavy, supple fullgrain leather with a dozen treatments that says "geniune leather." I have numerous Italian made belts with "vero cuoio" on them. In Italy, iirc, there is an organization that actually governs the usage of the term. In any case, many very high quality leather products carry that designation.

Your first mistake would be to assume your not drinking flunitrazepam

if people really want a more in-depth look at this krane jacket I guess I can shoot some more pics and say what is awesome about it now that I wore it with just a tshirt in some pretty cold weather. Mine is 09 so it still has the top two handwarmer pockets and some of the more nice details
Denim to BB1 is Uniqlo blazers to Aeglus
i was about to say i don't really have that many similar uniqlo blazers (I have 3 winter, two being from suits, and 3 summer, two being from suits)but i'll just say i do and jack bb1's quote since it sorta applies
I find that having many different colors/washes available in my closet offers me a lot more pairing flexibility and variety. It's really no different than someone whom buys one pair of raw denim plus many button down shirts in different colors/patterns-- a commonly accepted norm. Since I tend to have limited variety in the shirts I wear (mostly black/white t-shirts), I like to get my variety elsewhere.

I called Dior boutique, and they told there will NO SALE this year, because they have very good sales. (wtf) [IMG] I bought it from saks.com is having 40% off. The retail is 1850, after discount it's 1110. There are a few left in Barneys New York, their price is 1079, but you need to call them to order, only in store, as well as the Dior asymmetric blazer. Barneys will have their 2nd cut around or after Christmas, and they will have a huge 2nd markdown on these, if they are not sold out. Something like 60-70% off? I think this is a very good deal for a Dior. email me if someone want to order at barneys, I have their style number.
