I kinda suck at sneakering. Tried ordering within a couple seconds of the launch and didn’t get my size. Then went to EBay and paid 1.5x the price, only to realize I bought 10.5 Women’s, not Men’s. Then bought my size in Men’s for 2x the price.

Yes yes but why didn't you get the 22oz version? 🤔

that's a young man's weight - for those full of piss and vinegar, charging against the world and the densely woven cotton on their legs.

i'm older, more mellowed, and comfortable in my lifestyle, and these reflect the ethos of my current state.

Those 22oz things must be horrible to wear. 😬

Yeah, I won't go higher than 14oz ever.

Heaviest I have are 18oz and they make themselves felt, but are certainly totally wearable. If I was wearing denim enough to warrant it, I'd be into trying 22oz. I think it's good to be challenged by your clothes sometimes.

I’ve considered the 22oz Iron Hearts, mainly for riding motorcycles on cold days. I noticed a significant improvement in wind blocking at 17oz. I imagine I’d feel invincible in 22.

These are the exact trainers Steve would use to complete a fit

Synergy with the orange tabs and orange knit cap would be next level

Tell us more about this Atha brand you’ve been really into lately
Sure! They used to come up quite a bit in the Oversized Thread. I always enjoyed their look books but finding their clothes early on was nearly impossible. Now that they've been around a few seasons stuff makes its way to yahoo Japan or Mercari.

Ive actually done some deep dives and cannot find anything about the designer Hideki Saito. They're based out of Osaka and everything they do is unisex one size fits all. The nice thing is everything they make fits me perfectly so I don't have to think about sizing. The pants can be deceiving no way to make them work if you aren't around a 30" or less waist. All of the outerwear and tops would work for a wide range of sizes. The materials are the real standout, always substantial and generally super lux. The scratchier materials are always thoughtfully lined. I guess only downside is good luck selling any of it down the road there's no stateside demand for the brand.
