I bought these stupid/awesome Song for the Mute x KKTP boots (and some Acne Town jeans for my short legs, pictured in spoiler). The boots are very comfy! The goofy sole looked like it would be hard rubber but it's quite spongy. They also make me taller.

Will probably use for some light + dry countryside walking because the grip is good and make people think that I'm a hiker from the future. Or just have really rad orthopaedic needs.

I’ve got those in dark brown. I’ve had them for at least two years and I really love them - with one proviso: the shearling is wearing off in places and Birkenstock can’t/won’t replace it. They aren’t comfortable now except when worn with socks. Which is ok as I only wear them in winter anyway.

Thanks, good to know. I'm planning on wearing them around the house as slippers during winter (speaking of which, what happened to winter? not that I'm complaining), and pretty much always with socks.
