@ShoutOutsFoMyBo gee thanks! I was inspired by @Lorcan7's fits with them a while back and I wanted a statement outerwear piece that wasn't kapital.

@g transistor yep off grailed! It's called a knit rider I believe

Because it's the quintessential future Oxfam item. The sort of thing you wear exactly twice before its novelty aspect collapses from 1,000 to zero, after which you will see it hanging in your wardrobe for an eternity, wondering what ever made you buy it in the first place, all those years ago.

I have made purchases like that myself in the past. They are 100 per cent pointless.

I bought it primary because of the color and print of the coat. It reminds me of Spanish mosaic tiles that you would see inside a church in Madrid. It also looks like textiles used to make ceremonial garb for a wedding in Bali. Both places I've never been to, but when I wear the coat, hopefully it will make me feel transported to this places.

Then I tried on the coat, and it's so comfy like wearing a quilted blanket. I sat on the leather recliner wearing the coat and rewatched episode 6 of Game Of Thrones with it's snowy mountain cinematography and it was cozy!

I can see myself wearing this to church when I attend mass on Mondays. Or when my brother and I go to our favorite Spanish restaurant for pinchos and sangrias. I will totally match the surroundings. Or when I go to my weekly trip to the flower shop buying white roses and purple orchids for the shrine I built for my mom. I get emotional in the flower shop. Hopefully this coat brings me comfort and I think it will just do that.
