Artsy, those pants have become my favorite pair. The waist straps don't really do much, but they run a little small so hopefully they work out for you.

Speaking of, that guy who sold me the Cloak peacoat for 23$ cancelled the transaction because "contractors got paint on it."

Unsurprising.

What's protocol here? I accepted the refund, but what should I do if (when, probably) he relists the same thing?
Well, obviously you offer $15 because it's now damaged by paint

lmao. Hardly unexpected - I'm actually surprised he bothered to contact me first. Ah, well. What sort of feedback does one leave in this situation?

I know it sucks to have your purchase cancelled/refunded because of an obvious lie but at the same time it's fairly understandable, I think.

Best course of action, in my opinion, would to just leave it be and hope it gets re-listed so you can try again.

received two CDGH+ coats not that recently but i've only now gotten to wear them so in a sense a recent purchase.
pics aren't too great but should give some idea

1. Grey , very thick wool double breasted coat, raglan shoulders with incredibly deep exterior pockets.
Not lined but it's so heavy it doesn't make a difference. The collar can be buttoned shut, and with exaggerated lapel that can be raised , a geometric fortress can be created that rises high enough to completely obscure one's face, partially demonstrated below.

2. Dark dark navy wool gabardine, partially lined and very fluid long single breasted coat. Two interior pockets and two exterior, functional cuff buttons, exaggerated padded shoulders

Yeah, I've been looking for some nice chelseas, but nothing too crazy. I stick to my Indys as the day-to-day. I'd like to think the PRL won't be that bad...? Is there really much better to be found for the same price?
Not if you're limiting your options to new stuff, I shouldn't think. But then between here, sufu, ebay and thrifts (also sample sales if thats a possibility for you) you can really get lucky if you're into searching.

PRL's will be fine, probably at least as good as a lot of the SWD darlings that retail for double the price (I'm looking at you Margiela). I just already have 2x light tan boots ( a limited niche as it is), so to go out and purchase another that is nice but not spectacular and doesn't fill out my wardrobe would be silly. But still tempting. And given that there will likely be more sales, very likely a possibility.

Yeah makes sense - I'm sure prices will start dropping big time post-Christmas, so you might be able to snag 'em for significantly less. Anyways, thanks for your input!
