1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I couldn't fit into the last/first run of the coast (thighs way too tight, waist too loose). I like the look of these a bit better as well. Coast is a better price, but I'm hoping these fit the bill. Hard to find much info on Fabric Brand but it is Simon Miller (after he left his namesake co), all japanese selvedge, small runs and hand finished. As far as denim washes go I haven't seen anything better than these, hope I still feel the same when they arrive in person.

    I c

Same with me but I reordered a size up in a different wash from JE. Hoping it fits perfectly, which I will then order the "Coast" wash. But TBH, I think I may get a pair of dark indigo denim and let it wear and fade naturally...washed denim just looks unnatural. To be fair, if it is nice and fitted with a good taper, I think it will look great.

The way I see it, if I get into a tight spot where I need a pocket somewhere that doesn't have one, or if a friend needs a pocket but doesn't have any, with patch pockets I can always rip one off and reallocate it as needed. With welt pockets, I'd just tear a hole in my jacket.

    Will do...

And this arrived today. Large was way too tight and the XL is still pretty tight in the chest and upper arms. Is there a "Should I Keep?" thread anywhere?

DVN suit arrived. Fabric is actually a crazy multi-color that I can't show properly with a camera. Gorgeous though and fits perfectly (just need to finish the pant hems).

Looks nice KJ. How about a close-up of the fabric?
I also picked up a couple (vintage) Dries items over last few weeks.

    • crazy shame-thread-worthy paisley blazer -- now to find matching trou and red Moroccan slippers ;-)

    • double breasted wool asymmetrical zip jacket.

Still as hype as ever. Probably only Supreme can beat that.

I don't really buy much into the Amekaji swag, and vis prices are silly level, but you can't deny how proficient hiroki is at marketing and PR

I have this. First thing I did was take the skirt off. It's a good standard bomber. Not as distinctive as some others out there but it works. Lampo zips are nice (if you care about that sort of thing).
