1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

The assistant at my first holistic dentist, a woman btw, first asked me if I wanted a cherry flavor goo in my mouth before they started work. I asked her to see the miniature bottle for the ingredient list, had propylene glycol in it, told her it was toxic, and the assistant fucking laughed saying I was the first person to know that. She was only following orders from the dentist so I didn't get upset but never went back to the dentist again. Mind this was nine years ago.

From all the research I did the more hippied out a holistic dentist's website looks, the more you want to avoid. A conventional dentist is no problem either but they're not equipped to minimize mercury exposure during extraction. All the drilling releases a shitload of mercury vapor in the oral air that needs special oral damns and vacuums and industrial exhaust in the operating room.

Dentalktalk: I bought a Sonicare DiamondClean about a month ago, don't know how I went without one of those. If you have teeth I recommend you buy one instead of fashion!!!

Had one of those since they came out, best purchase ever. Actually thought about buying another because I want it in black.

Is the DiamondClean basically a toothbrush on a hyper-vibrator? I like the concept and USB plug.

I'm also a proud owner of one myself and it's a pretty gnarly doohickey. Did you change the preset to be 100% from the start or did you let it gradually get stronger with each use? I was lazy and chose the latter. I admit I felt like a goofball when I was reading the manual. Go to Costco for the replacement heads. There was a $10 coupon that ended last month, but am pretty sure there will be another coupon again.

Am I the only one who wants Regis dentist vs. sensationalist conspiracy theorist high-end waiter guy debate?

Should be a fit battle, but doubt it'd be judged fairly. [IMG]

I'd just tell him that coming from a person who's been around Dentistry all their life...Including seeing my mother practicing in Cuba were there are no lawyers between you and the patient you will be OK. Brush, floss, and rinse in that order/ get your cleaning done every 3 months not 6 and you will be just fine. Oh and to eat lost of candy
