1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ha! Man, that would be awesome. The 70s Bond Lotus Esprit was always my favorite (dare I say, "dream?") car growing up. And that Renault 5 must have been fun as all hell for you. But alas, I grew up in California, and my first car was an 83 Camaro Berlinetta. I was stuck in the "it needs a V8 and RWD" mentality. The prowess of european hot hatches had yet to hit my radar. And, again due to being in California, all my friends were jumping on the snowboarding bandwagon, so I did too. I will note though that Roger Moore's Bond was the first to debut snowboarding (sort of) in 1985's "A View to a Kill." So there may still be a common thread with the image above (just).

I'll let you know when I receive it. Measurements can't always be trusted: the Kolor coat I received last week fits like a L, but measurements look like XS-S.

Picked up this vintage Ratti 714 at the flea market on the weekend. Couple of minor scratches on one lens, but thankfully not noticeable when wearing them.

Would love to get those boots myself but my size is sold out, course Buttero doesn't offer it on their site either.

Isachenko, Butteros run 1/2 to 1 size big (just in case you did not know).

Yeah, I have a pair of their sneakers in 43, fit perfectly. Haven't worn them out yet though because the topline feels like a knife against the back of my ankle, god knows the amount of skin it'll remove if/when I actually do wear them.

You can go down 1/2 size from your sneaker size to boots, although based on what you just said it sounds like your sneakers might be too small? They might be a little tough for the first day, but the sneakers break in really nicely.. Maybe just wear some thicker socks than usual for the first wear or two?

They're relaxed snug, not small at all. You can even see by the profile pic how the back ankle digs in, the leather as you know is thick and unforgiving, at least initially. I doubt thick wool socks will help but will try before speculating further.

Cultizm's also out of stock on 42.5 for the boots.

    Jbrav,

Do you mean if your TTS is X and your 'regular' Buttero size is X-1, those boots work for you in X-2 size?

    I'm a 44 TTS.

I am normally 43 and own those boots in 42. These are the only Butteros I have/tried on, so can't really say what's my 'Buttero size'.

To go with my passport holder. I can't get enough of the color and how it ages. I'm not sure how the pop in things will go but they are easily removable
