1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Coming to a 5s from a 5 I still saw a noticeable speed increase. And better battery life.

honestly there wasn't much of a difference for me, the two things i love are the fingerprint pad bc i hated punching in the passcode 100x a day and perhaps my most favorite is the oleophobic coating on the screen, 90% reduction in fingerprints fuck i love that so much...plus if i kept my phone it would lose value by the time 6 came out so best for me to upgrade for free every year and make an extra 50 than to come out of pocket

Did you update to ios7 on the 5? I found ios7 on the 5 a bit more sluggish compared to the 5s. Also fingerprint scanner is a bit iffy for me. If there's the tiniest amount of water/sweat on my finger it won't recognize.

Word, i'm very surprised with how well the scanner works. I've mastered having it unlocked by the time I need to use it from when I take it out of my pocket and it's dope.

Not gonna lie, I copped it from Bicester Village. No way I could buy this sort of thing at retail as much as I'd like to. It doesn't really bother me that it's AW12, it's still a beautiful item.

Yes Noob! Glad someone got the reference [IMG]

    Nice one, looks good

Living in Bristol though so London's a bit of a mission. Bicester is 1hr20 away and open all the time.

What are the sample sales like? Worth the effort? Or does all the good stuff go on the first day?

Don't know never been, walked past once while in London and it looked packed with people bringing out multiple large bags of clothing.

Do people really need to upgrade their phones every year?

I just go every second year, when my contract runs out.

I did cop the new iPad tho, and a new Macbook Pro Retina

Mavericks + iOS 7 + Pages / Numbers / Keynote are certainly working really really well

The amount of iCloud involvement is awesome

I got the new iPad air also, still not really good for 1 hand use, I just like the bigger screen to do graphic design. I missed not having one when I sold mine, but know that I have it still feels like I don't need it. Probably because I use it mostly for school work. haha
iCloud is a mess needs folders for organizing papers, and photo stream needs better organization also.
