1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

there are three or four other people that work in my area who are 'interested' in clothes, and whenever i get a package delivered to work talk to me about j. crew and banana republic. i also get lots of compliments on the cheap stuff I wear (club monaco) and nobody notices the nice stuff (ts(s)). the one exception is folk, though. people love folk.

That slew of 5 zip fit pics earlier this year would make just about anyone think that it was an awful jacket.

Are the tapered twill same thing as the old anti-fits?

Did a quick clean up today. Found my old Cloak FW03 cardigan, which I wore to death. I need to replace a button and also need to get it reknitted in some places. IT is tagged as a limited edition, our of 58 made.

Also, a watch cap that I bought on a whim on a really cold night in early 2004, at Irish Imports in Cambridge, MA. I looked at the tag, today, and it was actually by Inis Meain, which was not, iirc, carried in boutiques or marquee stores like Barneys, yet. I wonder if that store still carries their stuff. I remember distinctly that I thought that it was rather expensive for a watch cap bought at a random all things Irish store (it was either $55 or $60), but that it was baby alpaca, and the nicest cap in the store. My wife (gf at the time) still has hers as well - some sort of red knit cap with a knit flower. I would recommend that store to anyone interested in that rustic look and looking for the real deal.

There is a re-knitter in LA that is supposed to be really good, forget the name.

Thanks for the tip jwalter, not a fan of mhl line and I really shouldn't buy anything as the last thing I need is more sweaters.

NP. I was tempted to grab the navy too but I have enough pairs of blue pants.

I wish I knew, as I haven't tried on the anti-fits. I know the fabric is different. The anti-fits used the same fabric as the chinos, while the tapered pairs are a brushed cotton.

Did you see my rev's in the RFT thread?

What grass, I only see rocks?

    Besides the Cabourn thread?

I find Cabourn to be overpriced by a good margin.

    Yey for inconsistency.

Easiest solution for appeasing gf is to get her the same thing she hates then 9/10 times she will instantly like it.
