1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Excellent decision! The construction on it's fantastic. And it weighs like 20 lbs...

it's nice, but I don't see why you'd order the apc version when toj is still up and running

    1) There's a super long wait
    2) The APC is a raglan and can't really be compared to the TOJ0
    3) The APC is going to be considerable heftier
    4) TOJ is not the be all, end all of leather jackets

Enjoy your APC - it looks stunning!

no harm intended towards heartlessphil, the apc one is a rad jacket, only meant it as a suggestion if he hadn't heard of toj previously (though I could obviously have phrased it better)

    Thanks man.
Hraun is Cedric Jacquemyns ongoing collaboration with Weekday, quite high prices at retail (like 200-300$ for tee/shirts/sweaters) but since people around here aren't really into the aestethic, I managed to pick up the tee and shirt on deep sale. That nazgul-hooded-cardigan I posted way back was also by him, kinda regret not buying it.
And yep, Filippa K backpack is current seasons, all sold out online afaik but got it at the Filippa K-store downtown on sale (was still one left last time I was there, but then again that was two weeks ago)

Gonna put the ambulance on standby for when I inevitably mindlessly drink seven pounds of once-solid food in one sitting.

How loud is your vitamix? I just got a Blendtec w/ the wildside jar. Will it blend? Yes it will, except that it's pretty loud, the only downside so far.

QVC of all places. They've got one of those flex pay dealies, so the price tag ($500+) is a little easier to digest broken up over four or five payments. My brother actually bought one a few weeks ago and brought it along with him when he visited home last week. I'd wanted one for a year, but after getting to actually try it out, I was sold. Even nicer blenders can't compare to this thing. It's more powerful than most food processors I've tried and the cleanup is stupidly fast (the container is just one piece, so you basically just run some water through it and it's cleaned out), which was a huge selling point, since the cleanup involved with most blenders and food processors made me hesitant to use them unless necessary.

I feel like the damn thing is more powerful than my car, yet it's not very loud. There are 10 settings, and I've not yet needed to bump it up past the third or fourth notch while making drinks that include a ton of ice. Everything blends together in about 30 seconds, too, so it's not like I'm standing there for an eternity by using one of the lower settings.
