Why is it a cool tattoo?
Shrug, if what I say bothers him then I think he didn't give his idea enough scrutiny before making it mostly permanent. It's absolutely not my kind of thing, but if floats his boat and is encoded with all sorts of deep personal meaning than that's all that matters no?
Just wouldn't get into the habit of getting tattoos if the words of some internet asshole I'm never ever going to meet is going to make me second guess them. That being said, I doubt samblackbones gives a shit since people hate on his recent purchases fairly often and it hasn't phased him or made him stop posting. Don't know if his back bone is one of his black ones, but he seems to have one!
I just think it's a dick move to hate on something someone just permanently inked on their body. Big difference between that and a pair of shoes or a t-shirt.
Tats are cool. Be cool man.

That dude is gonna regret that when he is 70 and has fleshy neck rolls and that will look like a big ass birth mark or giant shit stain.
i doubt he will live that long
Do those MMM oxfords you're selling have the same fit as their GATs?
edit: n/m, I read your ad.
Wasn't there a guy here who got the Polo logo tattooed on his chest?
Tattoos are like taking whatever is the coolest fashion of the moment and permanently stitching it onto your skin, forcing you to wear the same clothing forever.
The vast majority of those getting tattoos today would not be doing it if it where not seen as trendy and on target by their peers. With so many people getting them today they are not even viewed as bad ass or rebellious any longer, rendering the tattoo impotent. In the US there are many new tattoos parlors opening every week, so the apex cannot be far away. In the future tattoos will eventually become a marker for those who are older, uncool and outdated.
Additionally, the high cost of removal ($1000 to $7000) means only the wealthier will have them removed, leading to the tattoo eventually being seen as a marker of being low class (as it was before).
please refer to the above image of the man with the LV print all over. that man will never be viewed as low class. that tattoo will ensure his elegance and class are visible to everyone. it will recall for all onlookers the painstaking work of the artisans who delicately crafted him by hand...
Credit where it's due: the fleur designs appear to be more intricate than the standard LV print.
Discredit where it's due: all-over THROAT tattoo WTF??? Thinking about an Adam's apple receiving ink via needle is making me cringe right now.
I thought about these but decided against because I like ugly ass skater looking Balenciaga's. I like these, like most Lanvin's, but they are hard for me to fit in my wardrobe. Maybe if they did a black sole I would feel differently. I love the look of material they use though.
