1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yo, reedo, I feel you. I am currently at 168 and want to get down to 160-165 (depending on what 165 looks like). I don't want to speak on your behalf but for me I want to see what the peak of my physical excellence and discipline is. I know I am in great shape. I can be (maybe) even better.

Yea maybe my attitude towards my own weight isn't the healthiest, but my efforts to improve it always are so i don't worry too much. And yea, when I gain weight it's all in the lower stomach and ass (and a bit in the thighs), makes slim pants too slim sometimes

news flash - the skinniest you can possibly get is not the peak of your physical excellence.

For me its about being as lean as I can while still having lots of functional and traditional lift strength and decent cardio. I can run 7-10 miles in a decent time, I can shrug upwards of 500lbs, ATG squat 285. Can't bench because of an injury sadly.

    I wouldn't say I look skinny :)

Update: MOMA black derbies also just arrived!

Very nice IRL, what we thought was suede actually seems more like treated/distressed leather, as there are certainly no hairs. Leather is super thick and feel really durable. Heel is a bit tight. A bit more TTS than their boots, but I still sized down one. nice shape and profile, overall a really good but rather punkish alternative to Raf derbies

Took another closer look, along with the help of google, quite sure that they are blistered leather (or some other treatment i'm unaware of), certainly not suede and they feel waterproof. Let's test...yup, at least water resistant

Toe isn't super bulbous, but it's a bit pronounced when looking straight down

    It sounds like waxed reverse/suede.

Suede is not hair. Good suede is just the reverse side of normal leather. Bad suede is when they split the leather and then use it.

Army boots used to be the reverse/suede side because you could waterproof it easier than you could the skin side. Wax and oil sticks to suede better than it does smooth leather. So they would be soaked in oils and wax to waterproof them.
