sorority girls can drink Arbor Mist straight from the bottle. They don't need any champagne. shit.
you're an associate at goldman sachs but all you can do is YSL pants? not really trying to insult you, but just curious as to why thats all you buy really.
as an associate at GS that is all you really need. some nice trousers, preferably a matching jacket to be worn as a suit when the occasion arises, and then your basics like shirt and tie.
with all the sitting working as an associate in GS, nice pair of trousers go a long way.
haha well, this is true. Just gonna break that shit out for special occasions. I have cheap crate + barrel glassware for around the fraternity house, so even if it breaks I won't be too bummed out.
But sorority girls don't even need Arbor Mist, they're fine with Andre & Franzia (still). And vodka-sodas/rum & diets at the bar.
c&b def the way to go, look good and cheap
More money to spend on cigars, clothes, liquor, and bar tabs

We gonna break out some Boone's Farm up in this bitch?
i have a couple balenciaga and three or four mmm dress pants as well that i wear at work. but yes, i love ysl dress pants (they fit straight up top and then taper through the leg) and they just happen to be my favorite. i cant think of another dress pant under $700 a pair that i like better. can you? if you have any options let me know. no fucking ninja shit.
thinking about trying some lanvins.
and yes, i am an associate with goldman. do you think i should be buying more? should i be buying better? i suppose i could get pants made for me for around $500 a pair but i still prefer the ysl fit and materials.
are you typing from the office right now? or are you cruising back home in your company-paid black car while your lowly analyst monkeys print pitch books for this friday's client meeting?
if you guys wanna rip on my job thats totally cool. but to be fair why dont you tell what you do. i have a shitty job and work with a bunch of money hungry douche bags in cheap suits ... but then it is the money business.
lol i wasnt ripping on you for your job at all man. mad props for sticking it 2 years and getting promoted to associate.
just trying to make aware my knowledge of how high finance works.
p.s. i hope your bonus numbers didn't/don't fare the same fate as the guys' at jefferies
well. i do my own printing.
lol, that was my understanding of what a team at Goldman looks like as well, but you have a good job. It could be money hungry douche bags in cheap suits anywhere you go.
btw, you definitely don't type the way id expect an associate at the sacks would (aka you seem more mellow and not very high-strung). never would have guessed you were a banker. or maybe i just haven't spent enough time around here.
