    I once had something like 5 or 6 pairs of shell shoes/boots.

    I now have none (except the pair I'm selling). It's not the end all/be all shoe material some make it out to be.

    I wouldn't consider anything the be all and end all, but in winter some nice longwings look good in shell IMO.

    Did you buy the one at the drug store, or did your dentist fit you for one?

    After a couple of months of wear, you'll be surprised at how much "patina" it will develop.

    Just that its texture is unreal looking. I definitely like it, but I doubt there are many shoes made with it in a style I would want to wear.
