    I once had something like 5 or 6 pairs of shell shoes/boots.

    I now have none (except the pair I'm selling). It's not the end all/be all shoe material some make it out to be.

    I wouldn't consider anything the be all and end all, but in winter some nice longwings look good in shell IMO.

    Get those off ebay? I was debating pulling the trigger on those too but didn't know if they'd fit. Good price though...

    Did you buy the one at the drug store, or did your dentist fit you for one?

    After a couple of months of wear, you'll be surprised at how much "patina" it will develop.

    ^ Haha, the latter. The best part is, they let me keep the plaster mold they made of my upper jawline. :)

    Just that its texture is unreal looking. I definitely like it, but I doubt there are many shoes made with it in a style I would want to wear.
