Having owned about about 5 pieces from Shades of Griege in the past I would summarize the label like this...

    Fit is usually fantastic
    Design is sometimes good
Overall quality is poor but occasionally a piece will be ok quality
Fabric quality varies a lot between pieces-- anywhere from "ok" to "poor"
Buttons fall off shirts even more easily than BoO
    Most pieces shrink excessively
Best quality pieces are their coats/jackets (but these cost the most)

The label could be far better if they were to focus more on quality. But it appears they're chosen to focus on selling to mainstream places like Nordstrom, Urban Outfitters, etc. Look at the price of most Shades pieces, they're priced exactly at the upper end of what a mainstream "fashion" place can typically push product.

^I've got a Shades of Greige shirt. Fabric is ok, nothing special, really short arms, and yeah the buttons are shite - i've had to resew 90% of the buttons. Didn't shrink though and the design's alright.

Received a pair of balenciaga cargo trousers today (finally!). They're absolutely fantastic; I'll try to take some photos soon. But damn, if they're left in your size at ln-cc or mr. porter, get on it. Seriously nice (and tts).

Ok, so it looks like the label was called "Shades of Greige", and now it's "Shades of Grey by Micah Cohen", which sounds just as ghey, albeit in a different way.

I have a cardigan from the Greige era. It's ok. Some weird, stretchy, blended material, probably has some viscose or something in it. I got it taken in a little at the sides (it was super-boxy earlier), which isn't something I'd try with a nicer knit. Now that I like the way it fits, I wear it pretty regularly in colder weather.

I've got something that looks like the winter/ski/biker version of those cargo pants, that stuff is nice. Surprisignly TTS too compared to other Balenciaga items.

Just snagged a Thom Browne light blue oxford, size 2 from the Bay. I hope I sized correctly. I'm a traditional small, except in extra slim brands like BoO and R&B, did I size right?

TB sizing has seemed sporadic for me. If you're an M in BoO, size 2 should fit you ok from this past season. However, they are very long and you will probably have to have them tailored or tuck it in.

    2 might be big. I'm a 1 usually and I'm a smedium.

To the above, sz 2 in Thom is definitely larger than a BoO medium.

It has more shoulder and chest room, but it tapers heavily, at least the oxfords that I have/tried on (blue oxford tri placket + white oxford grosgrain placket). The taper on the waist is much more than BoO M, which I own a lot of. It may have just been those oxfords that fit like that, but I can definitely say that the waist on TB size 2 is slimmer than BoO M.
