Do you know if there are any fit pics of that sweater floating around? I like the look of it but I'd like to see it being worn before I kop.

Edit: Is this it? Looks similar but not exactly right...

I don't like the sweater I posted. It looks like the one you bought has a smaller neck opening but I want to be sure...

    Its really different.

Its sorta of like a shawl neck and then they added a crewneck to the shawl if that makes sense...

Archimede 42mm pilot. I originally ordered a Stowa back in may, but the damn thing never arrived so I canceled and got this instead. No regrets: It looked a bit dull in the stock pictures, but IRL it's amazing.

I really thought about getting the hair cardigan and that same shirt, but ultimately decided to sit on them for a bit.

Schneider scarves are awesome. I have four, but my girlfriend stole two from me...

The hair stuff in blue is exceptional. I'd urge you not to sleep on it. Handling the piece in person (Which I had the good fortune to do) made it the most stand out piece by far from what he has in for the buy. Different sections of the cardigan look different depending on the angle you look at it. The color variations in the weave really add a lot of complexity into ways it can be appreciated. The fabric is amazing even for schneider who creates his own textiles (So most of them are already amazing to start).

Yeah... I just don't know if scarves really work in our clime for the most part and I don't leave cali enough to really justify it. Moreover I'm probably too lazy to learn how to style one correctly and also I don't have much of a neck or enough height I think to balance it out. I wish I did though :) Schneider's shit is off the hook in this area for sure. Again power to his textiles.

Edit: eckblk you know how I feel about that Harnden piece :) Many gratz!

Abraxis - Great pick ups. I've been eyeing that hair cardigan, definitely on my list for fall. Not sure if I want that or the hair pullover...

eck - Nice jacket, I'm jealous.

Thanks snake :) Yeah it wasn't even on my radar except as 1 of the many amazing knits dude has this collection in the most perfect color palette, but once I saw it in person my resistance was worn away in minutes.

I think Ryan of South Willard's rationale for cardigan over pullover fitted my needs exactly and that's... sw is based in LA. Hair weight + pullover would be too hot too much of the year. Cardigan offers more flexibility in california clime. As I am a norcal resident it made sense and so I went cardigan over pullover! Not too sure how your Oregonian seasons work, but I'd let whichever optimizes wearability for you make the choice for you :) Of course you could make a style-based decision too heehee

I'll pass on the warning he gave me and that is the thing is super vulnerable to snags/snagging. One of his hair scarves got snagged while he was taking pics so he ended up "buying" that one for himself. Worse things to have to buy though eh?
