Ann D derbys are nice! I do remember those being on sale at Barneys few seasons ago, they had it on the website too.

Got these John Lobb William II's for a really good price on eBay. Unfortunately the seller didn't list the cracks/nicks in the leather. I doubt I could find them again for such a low price, so I'm torn between returning them or just wearing them as is. I just waxed & polished them after this photo so the marks are slightly more subtle but still apparent. Not sure what to do.

The zipper is really cool, too bad Topshop has 50 things with the same thing now.

Vince makes really good basics at decent prices. Patterns are well done as well. There is a reason that lots of boutiques keep a stash of Vince and James Perse basics in a little pile, in a back corner. No, it's not going to make anyone go "oooohhhhhh", but sometimes, people just want to look decent for playing at the park. V::room fills the same niche, but at about 3x the price, and it's not as durable, though the materials are more interesting. You do the math.

Yes, plus since I'm not EU, they refunded VAT (had to email them but they did). Pretty good deal to me.
