The processing only affects jpeg shooting and the design of the Leica is better than the Lumix for sure [IMG].

So which shoots better jpeg pics?

I wish film (and processing) wasn't so expensive for this, otherwise I'd use it way more.

I have a Canon S95 and find it to be very good for a P&S. If you don't feel like carrying a large camera it could be worth considering.

Small baller shit right here, but I'm completely re-tooling on a strict budget (impending divorce sucks ass).

Lucky Brand white and neutral slim straights.
Ben Sherman short sleeve. Love the fit on this shirt.
    Sperry canvas summer goodness.

Which Sperrys are those? Where did you get them?

[IMG] That's the one I lost. [IMG]
In the end, if I can't decide which to get I'd probably get another S95 or wait for the next version of that.

If I lost a $400 camera I'd probably kill myself
RFX loses a $400 and considers buying a Leica to replace it

I just mentioned that I lost my S95 and people started suggesting Leica, wasn't even in my radar until today. Still unsure at this point, I'm still pissed because that S95 is pretty new.

rfx is at a level of zen none of us mouthbreathers can understand. he's essentially left the material world behind by immersing himself so deep into it that our heads would explode trying to even comprehend it.

X100 coolest camera, in love with mine, and I'd love a Leica, but seriously, if you're interested in a compact point+shoot that shoots great photos, it's hard to find a better camera than an S95

yeah this. I think part of his primary criteria were being able to put it in a back pocket and the s95 is about as good as it gets for this. I had a few of the ELPHS starting with the sd100 (lol) and they were all great "go anywhere" cameras. the best camera is the one you have with you!

This step is often shortly followed by the appearance in this thread of a watermarked photo of the item in question (and in multiple colorways, if applicable). [IMG]

excuse the interjection but might I suggest using the entire sequence of the animated gif for extra emphasis ?
