    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Impulse snagged a couple of woven Canali sport shirts for warmer coming weather (I'm in Florida, it's right around the corner) from the Vente-Privee sale.

    I've had mixed results with Canali sport shirt sizing in the past - usually too generous to be reasonably slimmed down, but here's hoping this isn't the case with these 'cause I'm smitten.

    Thanks. My first choice was the red/white oxford instead of the red microstripe, but I would have had to change cut or size, and was not going to do that.

    I think that the red microstripe will be cool though. The one I'm really excited about is the blue/navy Gingham.

    Thanks :fistbump:

    It's tough to see in the pics (the orig site has closeups) but both are woven with what looks like a pretty open weave. Definitely hoping they help to beat the heat in the coming months!

    I want to love those shirts, but even after tailoring, they still aren't quite right for me. My drop just makes RTW shirts near impossible. Also, the cotton doesn't seem to be the most durable. All that being said, they are still a great value.

    I am totally with this. RTW shirts can work for me, but after having had Hamilton and Despos make shirts there's really little that can compare. While I will continue to by from them, I need some shirts that I'm less worried about. Plus, I don't really have any button down collars atm.

    Good luck! There really isn't a better RTW shirt you will find for $80 and the BD collars are great.

    thats too bad. i have no issue with their cotton, its not ZOMG AMAZABALLS, but its certainly nice enough not to bring down a fit. wearing one with a formosa suit and hober/wu tie it fots right in for me. for me, i am least picky/have the easiest time with, my shirts.

    as a matter of fact, the only shirt i have bought in a long while that just did not work fit wise, was the g inglese. just not nearly long enough. i need to pin it with a safety pic at the bottom of teh placket where it is tucked in, to keep it in place. : (

    I didn't mean to put them down or imply that I was unhappy. I've just worn/washed one of them about 5-6 times and the neck is pilling a bit. Nothing major and like you said, it will not bring down a fit.

    @Rudals

    Take note. You need some Kama BDs, son!

    Contrary to popular belief, you CAN wear them with suits and they look damn good of the collar has a nice shape

    Love the idea of a cashmere + leather interior. Would show wear easily I'm assuming, unless brunello could come up with something hard wearing. what parts would you make leather and what part cashmere?
