1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ties look fantastic, can we get a close up of the one on the left? Hard to make out the texture exactly, is it similar to a Birdseye?

I love me some end-on-end (fil-a-fil is French for the same thing, right?)

I've had some Mastai's that I've loved and some that were "only" so-so, but mine were a lot more than that; who can quibble at $45? [...]

Where can a man acquire EG Cappelli ties only other than their website?

That's the best source in terms of price. Also, I haven't had any trouble with UPS customs yet. But Ive been ordering in small batches of 5 ties or less.

Linkson Jack and Exquisite Trimmings use to carry Cappellis, but I think he's figured out that it's better for his finances to sell them direct. :D

Bravo. I've said before that I'm still neither a monk nor a split-toe fan, but I think I like these; the refinement and balance seems better. The straps and buckles are less "look at me!" and the split is subdued, especially when contrasted agaisnt the the top stitching. Actually, I think the moc toe in general plays well here, hmmmm.

While still not a convert, these are helping to keep my mind open.
