1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I think I'm finally going to have to join that no-buyer's month club thingy. But before I do, one last snag - a 3r2 Cantarelli LP cash-wool-silk job that looks like heaven.

I'm such a sucker for a gray and brown mix. Throw in some POW and I drool. This is so me.

New gloves from Chester Jefferies. Deerskin and unlined. Were actually a Christmas gift from my girlfriend, but they didn't arrive till last Friday.

Color was a lighter shade then I expected so I'm in the process of darkening them a little. Happy with the results so far.

Thanks much all. I've gotten a lot more targeted with my purchases; fewer, better items. Part of that is my self-imposed "sleep on it" rule when I get gaga at something on first blush. Unfortunately, I've lost a couple of items that I've later kicked myself for. This felt like one of those really right pick ups that I didn't want to lose so I jumped on it and went to bed thinking "maybe I should have waited". But, when I look at it this morning, I'm still as thrilled as I was when I pulled the trigger. Y'all's concurrence helps me think "yep, good call" too.

Neither do I, but I'm going to have to get into some sort of rehab. Even getting myself down to just "fewer, better purchases" isn't net helping my balance sheet!

I think it was Hirsh, not me that said they couldn't manage the Nno purchase month. Though that's true for me too, especially since it's birthday month.
