Based on my personal experience, I prefer Kiton when it comes to shirts.
However, suits and jackets, nothing can beat CA. Personal opinion, just saying. [IMG]

I can't comment on CAs suits and jackets, however I wasn't all that impressed with a Kiton SC I tried. The quality was great, but I wasn't a fan of the cut or the styling.

I find Fray shirts excellent too, but they're too slim for my liking.

They actually look nice, but just so you know, Church's, since the Prada acquisition, don't get a lot of love around here.

Thanks gents. Anything I need to add? I was thinking of getting a plain grenadine for the next purchase, thoughts?

Also, is this tie ugly? Mum just found it in a box with matching cufflinks..

If you are going for staples, I would go brown or navy.

    WHAT??

ah. well, i do love my black grenadine, but as Le Sacre mentioned, a brown or navy is much more versatile and more of a staple imo.

of the two, id go brown over navy, as the brown will easily go with gray and navy/blue jackets, whereas the navy will be harder sometimes with navy and blue jackets. most bang for your buck in a bitter choco grenadine imo.

Or if you're not dead set on it having to be a grenadine, get the cocoa flannel from yellow hook. That thing is insanely nice, although obviously a f/w item only.

yeah, thats a great tie, but the nice thing about grenadine is that it is 4 season wear no problem.
