1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I finally got around to buying a Barbour...

Went with the Beaufort Classic, and sized up to make sure I could get it on over a sport coat.
I'm really happy with the "Sylkoil" finish - it already feels and looks broken in, and hopefully it's only going to get better.

Did some damage to my wallet at the Neiman Marcus Last Call in Woodbury.

For me: Incotex wool pants. They're a sort of brown/charcoalish color.

Marcoliani Black and grey herringbone wool socks.
And a super thick Berdorf Goodman cashmere scarf.

And a pair of knits for my dad: Navy Zegna wool/cashmere crewneck.
MMM cashmere v neck with leather elbow patches. The color is sort of a burnt rust/maroon, a bit similar to my Hober Bitter chocolate when it catches the sun actually.
