1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Everything on 40 degrees, full cycle here. Cotton, linen, even some wool knit sweaters.

I was eyeing that tie on Malford's store and bought a purple grenadine Sartorio from Ich Dien last fall - talk about convergence.

Grey shirts are a nice alternative to blue; a striated or textured grey is fairly versatile (high sheen/very flat not so much).

    Thank you sir.

I had been looking at buying a lighter shade of cordovan pair of boots for awhile.

These were certainly one of the ones I had been considering.

I have to say, I'm very very happy I choose these.

The last is slimmer and shapelier than I thought it would be based on the pictures I saw.

Not sure how many they have left, but the gal at J Gilbert sounded like they hadn't been able to get any for awhile now. Not sure if Rider won't be making any in the future, or if they just haven't been able to get the Walnut Cordovan for such a long time.

    Sadly, no

Btw, just to be sure, I'm not advocating that people chuck their wool knits in the machine on a normal cycle. I only do so with my Smedleys that claim they're up to it (they are), but not with more delicate woolens. Well, apart from wool socks, they get the same treatment.

    Or maybe a better photographer.

However there wasn't much natural light today, it's been pretty bad all day today.

Oh well, they'll wear just fine.

    But thanks anyway.
