If that's the case, I'd just treat it like a regular blue bengal stripe shirt.

also a fine idea. but not dad jeans, nice structured ones.

also, as said above, no worries about the sleeve, you should be rolling it anyways in that context. its a pretty shirt, enjoy it.

That's a good idea actually, will have it for some night like that ;)
Thanks bro. Didn't want to see my $$ be thrown in the garbage, but will actually buy something new now. You see always go with the classic and boring way (because you will always do right)

Not a purchase but I took that Epaulet coat to a new tailor and she told me how great it looks and she loves the fabric... and then handed me a $160 receipt [IMG]

I like 'em. Looks slightly more elegant than my, otherwise rather similar, Chiltern. But not too elegant (*cough*Tetbury*cough*) for the casual vibe.

Seen Carl's shirts in person. Own Luxire shirts. Have owned Finamore and Borelli. Have read a decent amount about Hamilton. No ass talking, tits. That said, I still think you're diving into muddy waters trying to make sweeping comparisons. Either way, hope you find whatever it is you're looking for.

Haha, Foxxy I'm far from saying that bespoke is the only option or that it is vastly superior. As you seem to have alluded to, you have neither the patience nor the want to go through the process of bespoke. Therein lies a reason why RTW is superior for you, amongst others I'm sure.

What I was trying to argue was that an objective feature/aspect/detail is needed to compare any of them when the end products vary so much.

That's awesome. I still think it would be ever so helpful if you were willing to talk about their similarities and differences rather than getting caught up in the difficulty of trying to rank them against each other. These are two separate things and as I've said, I'm uninterested in the latter. That the end products vary so much should provide a mountain of opportunity to do such a thing without having to worry about having to construct a ranking. Thank you though. I hope someone is capable of getting and addressing this point.

Thanks, I saw these in a shop window and was thinking of getting them. Now I will.
By the way, we all could have told you to skip your first choice with the red soles, but you just had to be contrary...

Mine in dark tan came in. Exquisite. Highly recommended & their sizing advice was accurate.
