1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

Does articulated mean the shark's head bobbles?

All we need now are lasers. Some frickin' laser beams.

Did someone say Brunello Cucinelli, Loake, and Vincenzo di Ruggiero?

The only thing that would make those sharks more awesome if if you told me that they ate Brunello Cucinelli

Because I'm not in Napoli for a shopping spree. I live here and Italian shops sell silly-looking rubbish that is way too small for me, or casual wear pieces that cost 200-300Euro and up. I was shopping at the outlet mall in Caserta and walked past the BB store- they had a beautiful sailing sweater in the window so I popped in to see it. They didn't have my size but I saw this jacket in my size, so I grabbed it and 2 v-neck sweaters that fit nicely. Less than 100Euro for all three.
I'm sorry to say that I can't afford to have every piece of clothing I wear made for me by Rubanacci. I need to supplement my MTM and Bespoke items with everyday-wear pieces that don't break the bank.

The real trick is going to be learning where to find the small shirtmakers and tailors that do the same quality work as the big names but charge every-man prices.
Once I have been on the forum for a bit longer I'd like to start a Shopping in Napoli thread and get some help from SF members on where to start and hopefully be able to contribute a "boots on the ground" perspective back to the forum.
    Thank you for your reply.

MoL and I are going to the Playboy mansion together in our robes and leaving our businesses behind.

Off topic, but since we're all a-ga-ga over MoLs fantastic Articulated Shark Cufflinks, I thought I'd post some other Deakin & Francis outrageous and amazing (not too mention expensive) cufflinks:

Got a pair of new chukkas, Bodiley's Glaston, made by Cheaney. They seem a little too pointy to me. Here they are next to my battered AS Havants
