I hate sales.
Nice tie although I prefer tipped madders.
Picked up a pair of Bill's M3 khakis. Nice fit.
I'm a big fan of their sport shirts. They fit me really well. Enjoy the shirt.
Nice. Edwin makes some nice jeans.
I have a pair. They shrink a decent amount after the first wash. I found them to fit quite well after that.
How much did they shrink? About 2% to 3% sound right, or more? Did you hot wash/machine dry? I like to cold wash and hang dry for a lot of my cotton stuff
Interestingly enough, they didn't shrink much in the waist. I found them to shrink more in the seat, thigh, and lower leg. The inseam shrank considerably with my pair. Percentage wise, I would say around 5%. I used the washing machine to wash and dry, however. If you cold wash and air dry then they may not shrink as much.
Also, I'm sure they stretch out quite quickly. For instance, I put a couple pairs of JCrew khaki shorts in the dryer the other day and they shrank a ton but were back to normal size within an hour
Yeah, this happens to me all the time.
I LOVE IT!!!
Old Porter pages like that can be misleading. Sometimes an item retailing at, say, $200, can be sold out once it hits $100. However, when they do further drops, the page is taken out, but the price drop will still affect the old page. So when you find it, it'll say something absurd, even though it was sold out at a price much higher than what currently shows.
That's comforting. Thanks.
I bought a pair of Levi's 505s 1967 fit, back in 2009. It has no label that indicates it as part of the Vintage Clothing line, but they are also Made in Turkey and have the XX logo in the back label. Levi's Europe probably has a factory in Turkey for all the european market, especially the vintage stuff.
Wear them well, NOBD.
Wow - That's some awesome info!
