    Thanks!

I got all the suits from Neiman Marcus here in Chicago, they were $1850 a piece from $5995. All Kiton. I absolutely love the detailing.

I'm scared to see my shatnez bill :embar:

Thanks! That is my favorite as well!

    Thanks!

Don't blush at big timer status. Embrace.

Out of curiosity, do you not do anything bespoke? When spending that much money on suits I can't help but think you could get top notch stuff from Mina or Despos (since you're in Chi). Just wondering.

I've done bespoke with Ercole, and had nothing but the best experience. I'm 25 and have worn his suits since I was 19, and still continue to wear the same suits from back then!

The only issue for me is I moved from NY to Chicago about 5 years ago, so it takes a lot of hassle to be in NY for all the fittings, etc. Otherwise I'd strictly wear his suits.

He is the only one in the $1500 - $2,000 price range, that even holds a candle to the likes of Kiton and Brioni.

I walked into Despos once, and I believe he quoted me something in the 4K - 5K range, which I can not justify. I'd rather have 3 Kiton's, and tailor them perfectly by Ercole (yes, I make myself an excuse to be NY for all my major tailoring), than spend that on 1 suit from Despos, etc.

Frank does some beautiful work to be sure. I suppose it makes it a little more complicated when not too many top-notch traveling tailors do Chicago visits. I suppose if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Wear all your new stuff in good health.

totally epic, please post more of other recent purchases you mentioned! I especially like that tux, wasn't sure from the look of it on the table, but as worn looks excellent. all of them are kiton in these shots? wow, lots of peaked lapels!
