I think the width is OK, but the angle and the big low notch look very dated to me. In the context of this garment you can probably make it work, but since you mentioned you're going to have other pieces made I would absolutely want to address that next time. Ask for a small notch up at your collarbone.

I'd misidentified it a few times before. This MAY be the same, but given the age of the bolt that I bought there's a good chance its no longer in production. this seems pretty similar though

I'll start small. Dirt cheap, NWT eBay purchase. Fits perfectly.

Was in Atlanta this weekend for a work conference. First, Bresciani for H. Stockton. 100% cotton.

    Then went to Sid Mashburn.

And this. A present to myself for landing this new job. 1" dark brown alligator strap.

And you don't call?! Seriously though, nice belt. I love Sid's belts; fantastic construction and hides. They wear great too.

I'm really happy with it. I did a fair amount of research and Sid's pretty much fit the bill. Even scales, single piece, belly. According to the guy who helped me out, everything from killing the gator to making the belt is done by one man. I highly recommend SM if anyone is in Atlanta. They offered me a beer at 10:45 AM, chatted my ear off about clothes, and were very helpful.
