Swung past the Philly NM Last Call today and picked up a couple of ties for a song. Breuer (for Bergdorf) blue linen tie $41 and Drakes shantung blue with red & white stripe $35. (Sorry for the cummy phone pic)

The Drakes tie is 7cm. That was the only Drakes I saw there but at that price (40% off $58) I would have probably bought just about anything by them I could find. Lots of Charvet, Massimo Bizzocchi, & Brioni ties and I saw one blue & white Tom Ford knitted tie. I think it was $99 but I couldn't tell if it was reduced or not. (Most everything was.) They had a few nice Isaia, Borrelli, & Charvet shirts and some really nice Isaia and Kiton suits and SCs. Unfortunately they were still pretty pricey even on sale. I actually almost grabbed a Borrelli shirt but held off as I have a package on the way from the H&K sale.

speaking of ballz. i was at the NMLC in woodbury commons today, what a let down. the place must have been already hit over the weekend, cuz it had nada. the one by me has more stuff.

prices/discounts were slightly better in woodbury tho.

also, the other stores were not a let down. what a hell of a mall.

im still pissed at myself for passing on a beautiful 3 patch pocket zegna SC at the zegna outlet for 650. i want it.

LOL! They were still pretty pricey. I think even on sale they were still more than Shop The Finest. Plus I have 6 on the way from Hilditch & Key so it's not like I "need" another shirt ...

We don't even have an NMLC in the State of Massachusetts, but if it would just be house brand items, maybe were not missing out on anything.

Very true, and those are great stories. My mother used to read them to us when we were little.
